Messrs W. Nicholls and G. Royall are competing in the Macri golf tournament at Gisborne. A motion of sympathy with the relatives of the late Mr Allan Fathers was passed by the Ohinemuri Jockey Club on Monday evening, the members standing in silence. The Ohinemuri Jockey Club on Monday evening passed a resolution ' of sympathy with Mr L. W. Nelson, a member of the Auckland District Racing Committee, in the death of his wife. i
