SOCIAL NOTES
The Pukekohe branch of the Plunket Society raised £32 as the result of its baby photograph competition. Miss P. Crosby, who is leaving Paeroa shortly, was, on Friday evening, met by the staff of the Regent Theatre, Paeroa, with whom she had been associated for the past 18 months, and presented with a farewell gift by the manager, Mr V. J. Clouston.
