Returned Soldiers’ Picnic. —At a meeting of the Waikato Returned Soldiers’ Association on Tuesday evening, it was reported that the Railway Department was prepared to allow the branch to organise a Returned Soldiers’ excursion to The Mount, Tauranga, on Sunday, February 9. It was decided to circularise all neighbouring associations en route with a view to their joining •in the picnic.
