GOLDEN DAWN GOLD MINES. MANAGER’S REPORT. The following is the mine report for two weeks ending 21st November, 11*31:— “In the stopes on No. 1 reef above No. 3 level four machines have been at work breaking ore, also' filling the old stopes. The roof in this block averages 3 feet wide and still looks well, and the ore broken is by assay of very fair value. "In the stopes on No. 3 reef above No. 3 level, two machines have been at work breaking orc, also filling for the old stopes. “The reef in the block still continues to look well and averages 3 ft. wide, and the ore broken is by assay of very fair value. “The crosscut east from No. 2 level to cut No. 3 reef has been driven 10 ft., total 10 fl. "The country rock so far is a splendid class for carrying reefs, being interlaced with bright mineral veins and quartz stringers."
