This week's issue of the “New Zealand Sporting and Dramatic Review” will be very much enjoyed. The Auckland Golf Club’s closing day at Middlemore is illustrated in a fine page of snaps, and feminine patrons of the turf will be very much interested in the fine display of fashions for the course as worn at the New Zealand Cup carnival at Ricearton. The grace and beauty of yachts in full sail on the Auckland Harbour will appeal to all sea-lovers. “Wizard” Smith’s car and views of the Ninety Mile Beach will be eagerly scanned by all lovers of high speed. Joan Crawford, the alluring young screen idol, in a smart pyjama suit, is the very happy choice of subject for the coloured supplement. Rose Hobart, another screen favourite, is the beautiful lady whose portrait adorns the frontispiece. A fine collection of overseas phlotographs completes an excellent issue.
