MOTORING OFFENCES.
' DRIVERS BEFORE COURT. FINES AND CONVICTIONS ENTERED. ; Before Mr F. W. Platts, S.M., in : the Thames Police Court on .yesterday morning, a number of offences under the Motor Acts and Regulations were dealt with. As the result of a collision in Turua, between a motor cycle ridden by Frederick Olsen, and a car driven by Charles Bond, Bond was charged ■ with negligent driving and Olsen with ; failing to keep to the left of the . centre line. ' ' The accused, who did not appear, were fined 10s each, with costs 10s and a conviction was entered in each case. • • • • j Speeding on Plains. ■ Two cases of speeding in the Plains County were tried, the Inspector (Mr C. McLeod) laying the'infor? ' mation... As a result Ralph Bexriman was fined 20s and costs 10s for travelling through the Ngatea tpwnship on the 13th October at 30 miles per hour; and Leonard W. Mitchell was fined 40s and costs 15s for,; driving, a laden motor lorry at ,47,.aniied, per houi’ in-the County, of Hauraki Plains.
