EUCHRE AND DANCE.

BLUE SPARKS’ FUNCTION. The progressive euchre tournament run in connection with the regular dances organised by the Blue Sparks’ Orchestra, in the Netherton Hall, attracted a big attendance of dancers and card players. The games were well contested and the winners of the evening's play proved to be Miss McKee (Paeroa) and Mrs Baird (Hikutaia), with Mr J. Walker (Netherton) and Mr C. Stembridge (Netherton) first and second respectively in the gentlemen's section. The dance hall was well filled, dancers showing their appreciation of the good music bv continually calling the popular Blue Sparks Orchestra back.
