THE TALKIES.
AURORA THEATRE. “Top Speed” is merely a relative term, according to Joe E. Brown, star of this lively production, which is to'night’s attraction. The picture features a highly exciting speedboat race. “The greatest thrill of my life came in riding in these speedboats at between 50 and 60 miles an Hour,” said Brown. I’ve travelled 145 miles an„ hour in. an airplane, but you obtain no such sense of speed in the air as you do through the water. It seems at least three hours as fast.” Nancy Carroll is a golf champion, who plays a match with her rival for the man she loves as the prize in “Follow Thru,” Paramount’s . comedy hit, filmed entirely in ’ technicolour, which is the chief attraction to be screened on Thursday and Friday.
