COLLISION ON BRIDGE.

CAR AND BENZINE LORRY. CAR PASSENGER INJURED. The wet surface of the Puke Bridge at about midday on Monday was the cause of a benzine lorry skidding while being brought to a stop in one of the passing places, with the result that it collided with a car driven by Mr E. Roberts, of the New Zealand Co-op. Dairy Company staffs The impact caused a passenger, Mr E. Harris, of Paeroa, to be thrown against the windscreen and he received a cut on his head that had to be stitched up. He was brought into Paeroa by a passing motorist. The car was extensively damaged.
