On Tuesday evening a euchre tournament was held at the residence of Mr and Mrs T. Vowles, of Netherton, in aid of the Church of England funds. There were 28 friends present and a most enjoyable evening was spent. The first prizes were won by Mrs Heappey and Mr Heappey and the second prizes by Mrs T. Johnson and Mr F. T. V. Johnson.
