WINTER FIRING.
DONATION TO UNEMPLOYED. RENOWN COLLERIES GIFT. His Worship the Mayor (Mr W. Marshall) has received a communication from the Renown Colleries, Ltd., as follows:— “1 am arranging to forward from! the mine this week a truck of Renown coal, which we are sending, as . a donation to the Unemployment Comr mittee of your town, at the request of jour member, Mr Samuel. Freight; will be prepaid, and an account sent to Mr Samuel when available.”
At the suggestion of the Mayor, Messrs Brenan and Co., Ltd., local agents for Renown Colleries, have taken delivery of this seven tons of coal and have consented to miload, bag and deliver it to the instructions of the local Unemployment Relief Commil tee all without charge. ■ , Tre committee desire to express its thanks to ,the Renown Colleries, to. Mr Samuel, and to Messrs Brenan apd Co., Ltd., for their generous help.
