WAIHI BEACH.
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION. A QUESTION OF CONTROL. At the monthly meeting of the Thames Valley Electric Tower Board, the Tauranga Board wrote asking the Board to cede the Waihi Beach portion of its territory to the latter authority, which was willing to reticulate the area. The Chairman said the Beach was in the Board’s outer area and he was opposed to any ceding of territory. However, he suggested that the Tauranga Board be given power to reticulate the area, the Thames Valley Board to have the right to take the installation over at the end of a given period at valuation. He moved accordingly. . Mr. Price seconded the motion, which was carried unanimously.
