WEDDINGS.

BEDFORD—CRIMMINS. The wedding of Miss Nellie Crimmins, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Crimmins, of Waikino, to Mr. James Bedford, only son of Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Bedford, of Waikino, was celebrated at the homestead, “Leafield,” Waikino, the residence of the bride’s parents. Father Courtney officiated. The bride was given away by her father, and wore a gown of rose point lace over flesh pink satin. A feature of the gown was the silver train, which has been an heirloom of the bridegroom’s mother. A pearl and orange blossom coronet held the circular embroidered veil in place, and she carried a large sheet of slipper orchids. Miss Sybil Joyce, of Te Puke, was the bridesmaid, and wore a powder blue silk georgette, with silver lace, hem, and yoke. The blue felt hat and delphinium bouquet matched th egown. A little page boy, Brian Carlton, wore a blue satin cape. The best man was Mr. Frank Crimmins. The bride’s mother wore brown chenille georgette, and a brown hat; the bridegroom’s mother was in black satin, and a small black hat.

DALLY—BAYLIS. A very pretty wedding!was solemnised in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church , at Turua on Wednesday last, when Madge, the younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. AV. H. Bayliss, of Turua, was united in the bonds of holy matrimony by the Rev. J. Burley, of Thames, to Vernal, second son of Mr. and Mbs. E. Dally,,-of Matatoki. The Church had been beautifully decorated by the friends of the bride and considerable interest was displayed by a large circle of friends and acquaintances in the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a bridal dress of ivory crepe-de-ehine with an overdress of ivory silk lace, finished with a small posy of orange blossoms at the waist-line and falling in a cascade below the hemline. Her long sleeves had lace insert from the elbow. Her veil of- beautifully embroidered tulle fell in graceful folds toi the ankles, being held in place with a dainty coronet of orange blossoms. She wore stockings to tone and silver brocade shoes, and carried a bouquet of roses, sweet peas and spring flowers and fern. The bride was attended by her cousin, Miss Florence Walther, of Palmerston North, who was attired in salmon pink crepe-de-Chine with gracefully peaked skirt. The bodice was finished with a posy at the shoulder and' a diamante buckle at the waistline, and the long sleeves were finished with handkerchief cuffs. A beige felt hat, together with shoes, stockings and gloves of the same shade, completed her outfit. A bouquet of pink roses and sweet peas and fern was carried. Mr, Clive Dally attended his brother

as best man. After the ceremony, a reception was h'eld and the usual toasts- were duly honoured. The bride’s mother received her guests wearing a gown of navy silk marocain with trimmings of beige of like material, beautifully embroidered in the two tones. She wore a water-waved felt hat and shoes and stockings to tone. The bridegroom’s mother wore a navy repp, frock with fawn lace and hat to match, with fawn shoes and stockings. After the ceremony, the newly Wedded pair left by car on their honeymoon trip, the bride’s going away frock being of light navy chamelaine, trimmed with fawn, with coatf hat and shoes of fawn.
