Carrick .. 10 6 M.T. , 10 0 I Total .. ‘ .. £175 7 6 In the: cricket match against Yorkshire, Australia made 302 runs, to which the home team responded with 146 and 119 for eight wickets when stumps were drawn for the day. The aggregate increase in payouts by. the three co-operative dairy com/ panies in the Morrinsville district for the season to date totals £17,195, in spite of the marked , fall in London prices for dairy produce in the last portion of the season. The favourable weather and better farming methods is reflected in an all-round increase in factory outputs. The total value of output this year was £271,393 against £254,198 5s 9d last year. These figures do not include the returns from the New Zealand Dairy Company’s factories at Morrinsville, Kiwitahi and Te Puninga, which are not available. As these factories manufactured 1954 tons of butter and 579 tons of cheese, the amount distributed to suppliers would approximate £260,000. In the case of cheese factories a substantial sum will be, distributed to suppliers as a bonus when the whole of the season’s output has been.marketed. The.Tatua Company’s . total distribution will approximate £68,000.
