NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Paeroa Borough Council held on the 2nd day of July, 1927, she following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at a meeting of the Council to be held in the Council Chambers on the 14th day of July, 1927, at 7.30 p.m. “That in ’ pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Authorities Empowering (Relief of Unemployment) Act, 1926,” and its Amendments, and “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” and all other Acts and Authorities thereunto enabling it, the Paeroa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: “ ‘That in view of the unemployment at present existing in the Borough of Paeroa, the Paeroa Borough Council resolves to borrow the sum of £2OOO, to be known as the Relief of Unemployment Loan, for the purpose of reconstruction work on the continuations of Main Highways in the Borough.’ ” Wm.
