Advice has be,en .received that Mi A. M. Samuel, M.P., will arrive at Paeroa. on Monday for the purpose of assisting in the coronation ceremony of “Quaejn Reta.” Mr Samuel will remain in Paero'a until Wednesday evening.
Mr J. E. Bigelow, M.A., of the staff of the Paeroa District High School, has been appointed td a position on the staff of a. new junior high school attached to Marlborough College, Ble,nheim. He expects to leave for his new position early next year.
The friends- of Mr W. H. Taylor, Paeroa,' who was injured at the racecourse a fortnight ago, will be pleased to- lejai’n that he is making satisfactory progress- at the Thames Hospital. The head bandages have been removed, and Mr Taylor is hopeful of being discharged from the institution in about 10 days’ time.
