ALLEGED CARNAL KNOWLEDGE. REMAND GRANTED. An elderly Mapri named Rota Haate, labourer, Omaha Bush, was brought before Mr F. E. Flatt, J-P., at tiie. Police Court, Paeroa, yesterday morning and charged with alleged ca ; rnal knowledge on a female child during last month. On the application of Constable McClinchy a, remand was granted until June; 22, at 10.30 a.m-, at Paeroa, accused to remain in custody at Thames Gaol.
