SCOUT MOVEMENT.
QUEEN CARNIVAL AND FAIR. DISPOSAL OF PROCEEDS. A general meeting of the Paeroa Boy Scouts Committee wa,s held last night. At the conclusion of the meeting it was resolved that the queen carnival and fair be brought to a conclusion on or about the end of Joly, to be followed by a coronation ceremony on a suitable date 1 ;ter on After discussion with the; committee of the Girl Guides it was also resolved that after amounts required for the inauguration of a boys’ band, the purchase, bf a section of land, the erection of a small hall for the use of the scouts, girl guides, and band, and the liquidation of the Amount owing by the girl, guides, the surplus, if any, to be donated to the benefit of the; public of Paeroa.
