It is one of those diverting pieces of romantic comedy and the story is one of those delightfully probable affairs. However, it is just human enough to play upon your heartstrings, even while your sides ache with laughter at the hilariously funny situations. A big all star cast interprets the dialogue, headed by Wm. Collier, jun., and Pauline Starke. This is a guaranteed talkie, replete with laughter, romance and thrills, — in short, entertainment that will drive dull care away. Columbia Talking Pictures are amongst the best made. This is probably the most beautiful picture ever screened and the Warner Bros, have made it one of the most timeful and peppy offerings seen hereabouts in many a moon. This is the first 100' \ natural colour, singing, talking, and dancing picture. You will see a hundred heavenly hues and a hundred gorgeous girls. A big cast includes Betty Compson, Arthur Lake, Sally O’Neil Joe E. Browm, Louise Fazenda, Sam. Hardy, Lee Moran and many others. Stage settings equalling anything done by the girl-glorify-ing Ziegfeld, furnish the background for the dramatic action of the story. The- song hits include “Am I Blue;” “Let Me Have My Dreams;” Birmingham Bertha;” “In the Land of Let’s Pretend,” etc., etc. This all-colour, all-talkie is the finest and best yet seen in Huntly.
