Combined Sunday School Picnic.
The Annual Combined Sunday School Picnic will be held tomorrow, weather permitting in the paddock kindly lent by Mr L. B. Harris, Sen. This picnic has become one of the recognised fixtures in the town, and continues to be as popular as at first. It is open to all to attend, and the committee desires it to be known that all are welcome. The subscription lists which are out are being fairly well filled up, and although no canvassing will be done on the ground, the committee will be glad to receive subscriptions from any who are missed. It costs a good deal to run an affair like this, and as money is not as plentiful now as it used to be, the number of the prizes given to the children must be curtailed. This has been explained to the children, and under the circumstances, they gladly fall in with the proposition.
