Book Evening.
Another very pleasant social took place on Wednesday evening in connection with the Methodist Church, which took the form of a book evening, a prize being awarded to those who guessed the greater number of correct representations. Master R. Sheeran won the prize for the young gents, and Miss Sutton for the young ladies. During the evening various games were indulged in by the young people. Recitations were given by Misses Leather and Sheeran. Supper was handed round by the ladies and a very pleasant evening was then brought to a closo. The quarterly meeting of the above church was held on Thursday evening, a report of which will appear in our next issue.
