COUPONS STOLEN

Petrol coupons for a thousand gallons were stolen- from the strongroom of Blackwells Motors, Ltd:, .during the week-end. Cash amounting to £1? from, petrol. sales on. Saturday afternoon was also removed. The strongroom * from which the coupons and cash were stolen is generally used by the firm for books and records, and was locked up in the usual way by an attendant after Saturday afternoon s sales. Later it was apparently reopened with a key and locked after the removal of its contents. Iho stolen petrol coupons were being held by the firm for subsequent transfer to the oil-fuel authorities. They have no identification or ' cancellation marks and aro eligible for further petrol purchases during the remainder of December.
