T-Ton. W. Nash commenting on a cablegram referred to him, in which Loid Woolton announced the cutting out oi imports of all fruits exceptoranges and canned fruits, said: “We will use all the space available in ships trading between New Zealand and Britain to ensure the despatch of goods most required by Britain.” He added that he had not yet received advice of the British decision. “If there is some space left it can be used for fruit-.. We will endeavour to have arrangements made for it to go.” STATE LUNCHEON PARLIAMENT BLDGS., Dec. 5. A State luncheon in honour of the Governor-General is being held at Parliament House, to-day. Members of the General Assembly and representatives of the business and commercial community and local bodies are present. There is-an attendance of about 150. ' LABOUR CAUCUS PARLIAMENT BLDGS., Dec. 5. Hon. P. Fraser announced that a caucus of the Labour Party is being held on Monday, December 16th., to consider general matters, and the personnel of Cabinet in particular.
