PLANE CRASHES IN N.S.W.

SYDNEY, December 3,
A plane crashed near the Narrow mine Flying School to-day. Air Force Instructor Guy Hubbard was killed. Pilot trainee William Batt sustained a fractured leg, and minor injuries. The machine was about to land when it spun to the earth.

CANBERRA. December 4
The'Minister of the Navy. Mr Hughes, stated in Canberra to-night that as ,i safety measure. the Naval Hoard had deemed it necessary to have a check yj. of the channel at Sydney Heads. This had involved sailings being prohibited. Mr Hughes said that this was a temporary measure, and that normal traffic was now proceeding. A WARRANT QUASHED. (Received this day at I'd noon). MELBOURNE. December 4. A warrant issued by Judge Foster, cabled on October 18 and November 4, for the arrest and imprisonment of Miss Isaacs, has been quashed b)y Justice Martin to-day. Mr Martin said that a person should be heard before a. judgment is given. That "’as the essence of j/istice. He added that because Miss Isaacs deserved no sympathy for her behaviour in court... he would refuse the motion of her counsel for costs
