TRIBUTE TO ROYAL AIR FORCE

Sir Cyril Newell, in a speech, said there was no doubt the lads of the R.A.F. were magnificent. There was no other word for it. “I am sure they do everything tjiat England expects of them.” Ho added: “I have handed over my post to Air Marshal Portal with considerable regret, hut there is no other to whom I would have handed it over with greater confidence.”
