GOVERNMENT WARNING. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). t CAPETOWN, September 12. The Minister of the Interior, Mr Law ronce, has endorsed General Smuts’ warning that the Government intends to use its full powers to curb subversive activities. He detailed the actions of the Ossewabrandwag organisation. The organisation has been formed as an Afrikaans’ cultural, society. He said that subversive elements had appointed guards for public utility buildings, with . badges representing them to be soldiers. Attempts were being made to tamper with the loyalty of the police, the railway employees, and the soldiers, and also to obtain military information and arms. He said that the Ossewabrandwag Organisation's “wild 1 melt” w<Kfe Wtddtl’ifly ggttifig' out", of hand. General Smuts was determined to maintain internal security.
