H is officially stated here that the Argentine and British Governments arc studying an agreement by which the: Argentine would cede to Britain credits totalling between £30.000)000 and £40,000,000 for the purchase of meats and grains. The British-owned railroads and packing-houses in the Argentine! would be the security lor the credits.
