The clipper ’plane going 1 to New Zealand-, took off at 1.5 a.in., to-day, lor Honolulu. , Mr Trinpc, President of the Pan American Airways Coy., fanewolling the clipper, announced tiiat high altitude flying would be introduced in the spring of 1941, and would reduce the Los Aiigoles-Hon’oluhi bop to nine hours. ; ’ HONOLULU, July 13. The clipper landed here at 8.30 a.m. It will depart for Canton Island at 5.30 a.m. on Sunday.
