CLOTHES DRIVE. • The authorities, are arranging for a clothes drive, on Saturday, July 20 th., in connection with the appeal by t».e Lady Galway Patriotic Guild, tor clothing . and goods for, refugees at Home. In Hokitika, the Post and: a Telegraph staff will carry out tae col e'e-s tiou on the afternoon pf the day men- w tioned. Rural delivery services will b collect gift goods also. In Westland County, the appeal well be made by the employees of the Westland County Council, who are giving their day s services lor the patriotic cause, and the Council is supplying the vehicles. The following are the lorry / tours arranged : , No. 1: Arahura Road, Awafuna, Chesterfield, Ivmnara Junction, Dill- < 'mans, Goldsborough, Stafford, Humph- ' reys. No. 2: Kokatahi and Koitenangi, No. 3: ICanieri, Woodstock, Rimu, J' South Spit. ; ' No. 4.- Wataroa, Waiho, Okarito. No. 5: llarihari, Poerua, Mt. Hercules and Evans Creek. No. 6: Ruatapu, Totara, Mikonui, Waitaha. All goods will be packed at the County Office, Hokitika. To save time, parcels will be received at the depot, i at any time now as packing begins next week. Donors are asked to supply ; usable, not worn out garments.
