11 TERRITORIALS INJURED (Per Press Association —Copyright). AUCKLAND, June 17. Hurled out of an'Army truck on to the roadway at Manurewa, shortlj before 7 o’clock to-night, eleven men out of a party of twenty-one Territor ials from the Pukekohe district, were injured, and were taken to the Auckland Hospital. j" Later three of those injured wen able to go home, the eight others he ing admitted to the hospital. The} are suffering for the most part fron concussion. None of them is regarded as being in a serious condition. The remaining ten Territorials were sent to the Papakura Mobilisation Gamp,and were later taken' home, after being given a hot drink and food.

Joseph Henry McGuire, aged 18, single; concussion. Bernard Meyer, aged 32, married: concussion. James Neil Robertson, aged 18 single; concussion. Charles Rodgers, aged 18, single; slight concussion and bruises.

All of the men are serving territorials,’ or recruits for the Firsi Battalion of the Auckland Regiment They were being brought into t;n city for medical examination. At ar intersection at Manurewa. a collision occurred between the Army transput and an empty double-decker shoe] transport lorry. The bodywork o' the Army transport and the slier] tnuclc, projecting out behind it-ne respective drivers’ cabins, came int> violent collision. The canopy of tlx Army transport was torn from the chassis, and at least eleven of tinmen were hurled on to the road, they being scattered over a distance ot about fifty feet. When the tw< vehicles came to rest, the roadway wa. littered with wreckage.
