CYCLIST INJURED
COLLIDES WITH MILK VAN. (Per Press Association*-Copyright). CHRISTCHURCH, May 20. Joseph Williams, aged 18 years, of 77 Wildeberry Street, Woolston, was admitted 'to the Christchurch Public Hospital ) three hours after the bicycle he was riding collided with a milk van in Linwood Avenue. He suffered head injuries, but returned to his home. His condition became worse during the morning, however, and he was taken to hospital. His condition last evening was reported as not serious. Robert Simpson, of 42 Swanns’ road, collided with a milk van at the corner of Sherbourne and Cranford streets. He was admitted to the hospilal with leg injuries. 7wo persons collapsed and died in city streets on Monday. William Edward Legge, aged 67, a married man of 54 Cowlishaw Street, collapsed in Stanmore road at 10.30 a.m., and he was taken to the Public Hospital by ambulance; He was dead on arrival. Annie Rose Muleock, aged 63, of 7 Heathfield Avenue, collapsed on the footpath in High Street at 11.30 a.m. She was taken in an ambulance to the hosnital, where she was found to be dead.
