He said it had been planned: (1) To advance the date of the det spateh of the second Canadian division overseas ; -(2) to raise a thirdMiy? ision; (3) to speed up thq recruiting' of reinforcements; (4) to assign a naval and military formation to active service in the ‘Caribbean and North Atlantic Seas; (5) to send another Anmj co-operation srjuadrpn overseas; (6) to form . a Canadian 1 Corps in the field; (7) to'accelerate: the training of phots and air crews; and (8) to confer special wartime powers on the Munitions Supply Department so as to enable it. -to dito the siibplyihg said that, the dominion v would ,’ bo spending over, seven hundred million dollars in the present fiscal 1 year on the war effort atone.
