PRAYERS FOR PEACE. (Per Press Association —Copyright). WELLINGTON, May 20. His Holiness the Pope ha s ordered that the month of May be set aside for a. special intercession that the war may give place to a just peace. In the fulfilment oif this command and in view of the request of the King, that Sunday May 26, be the day of universal prayer, tljp Apostolic delegate, Archbishop Panico, has cabled to Archbishop that next Sunday be observed by Catholics throughout the Dominion as the day of special prayer for the cessation of the .present fraticidal strife and that a peace founded on justice may quickly come to the world.
