AN EASY WIN. (Per Press" Association—Copyright). AUCKLAND, May 19.' The Auckland West by-eketion Held on Saturday to fill the seat occupied by the late Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage), resulted'in au'j easy win for the official Labour candidate (Mr Peter Carr), by a majority of 3079 or a little more than two to one over Mr W. H. Fortune, an Independent, avlio received the’ full measure of Nationalist support. There , were four other candidates, including two, Mr J. B.
