GILDO BEATS JARVIS.

AUCKLAND, April 29
The Auckland Boxing Association's season opened with a series of contests. The main bout was between professional lightweights, Corpora] Jack Jaw’s, of Trentham military camp ) and Young Gildo, of the Philippine Islands. Gildo won on points at the end of 12 threeminute rounds.
