N S W. DROUGHT RETURNING. (Australian Press Association). SYDNEY, March 19. The fall of rain in New South Wales, as cabled last night, proves to have been very light over most of the State, with only a quarter of an inch in the Sydney metropolitan, area.
The rain has now ceased; Hot and humid conditions are returning, and aire causing the greatest disappointment.
