The -Postmaster-General stated today that he took particular pride, in announcing that officers of the Post and Telegraph Department, in large numbers throughout the Dominion, had volunteered .to, contribute to the Patriotic Funds on.a regular fortnightly basis. The donations are to .be deducted from their salaries and the money will be handed over to the National andi Provincial Patriotic Funds. The allocation is to be decided by the. Director-General of the-Depart-ment, Mr Young, <in collaboration with the P. &. T. Officers Guild, and the F. &. T. Employees Association.
