The denunciation of the Pact is believed to have swung Poland into a willingness for .much qloser cooperation with Russia.
It is noted in London that Germany expects to take a few months to complete extensions to the Biel tried Line ot Defences, and a section of informed public opinion that believes no major move against Poland likely before August.
UNSTABLE PROMISES.

The official journal “Gazeta Polska” says- Hen Hitler’s speech is unconvincing, particularly in regard to Czechoslovakia. He proposes negotiations, but no one is anxious to undertake them, because Germany denounces agreements unilaterally whenever 'it suits her.” ■ ■■'■
LONDON PRESS COMMENT.
LONDON, April 30
AVitb the international spotlight focussed stronger than ever on Poland, Europe has spent the week-end in digesting Her Hitler's speech. The British Pres s unanimously expresses the opinion that Britain must not relax her protective measures. “The Times” says it believes Hen Hitler is on the defensive. It says; “His alternatives are a conference deadlock or war .but, unless Germany overthrows peace, there will be no war.” The “Daily Herald” says its impression is that Herr Hitler is not ready to risk a major war. The “Daily Telegraph” considers the speech does not change the international situation. EXPELLED FROM ENGLAND. LONDON, April 30. Doctor London correspondent of the German newspaper, “National Zeitung,” ha s been expelled from England, where he has lived for the past nine years. The “National Zeitung’s” is Alarshal Goering’s paper. Dr. Roesel is a leading Nazi propagandist.
