OBITUARY
It is with deep regret that we record the sudden death on Anzac Day, at her home in Auckland,. of Ethel, wife of Mr P. Griffen, and third daughter of the late Mr and Mrs John J. Breeze, of R eve II Street. Besides her husband and. she leaves fqur .sisters,; v Mesdanres C. Jacobs,, and D. Diet]rich's of Hokitika, Mrs Berney of Fairlie, and Mrs R, Fisher of Jo'hnsonville),; and five brothers (William Breeze of South Westland, Ford, Leo, and David of Hokitika, and Sydney of Johnsonville).

SYDNEY, April 29
The death has occurred of Mr Justice Edward Milner Stephen, aged 69, a member of the New South Wales Supreme Court Bench. He collapsed in Court while summing up in a libel suit. Mr Justice Stephen was an alderman of the City Council from 1900 to 1927.
