I Both were of- ten three-minute rounds. • I In a light-weight contest, Fred Tay- ! lor, of Australia, 9st., met Brian McKay, of Auckland, 9st. 41b., and suffered defeat on points. McKay was the aggressor throughout, and he won every round. The second bout was a middleweight one, tlie contestants being Tui McTvor, of Wellington, list. 61b., and George Allen, of Auckland, list. 41b ! The result was a points victory for I Allen, who proved himself the s.uperj ior boxer against a rugged fighter. The j margin in favour of the Aucklander was a comfortable one.
