i '’ | (Australian Press Association). ; -?-id SYDNEY, April 28. A fire which raged overnight in the wheat silos at Young, destroyed one hundred thousand bushels of wheat. The damage is estimated at £15,000. LABOUR. POLITICS. SYDNEY, April 28Following yesterday’s Parliamentary Labour caucus, when several members demanded Mr J. T. Lang’s resignation from leadership of the official La*bour Party Mr Lang to-day issued a statement declaring that he is determined to continue m the leadership until the annual conference of the Lahour Party called for his resignation. He added: “If anybody imagines that there is going to be a cold-blooded assassination, he will make a tremendous mistake. I will stay where I am, and will fight this minority dictation.”
