The decision of the Minister of Finance to proceed to London forthwith, is a wise one in all the circumstances. Mr Nash’s main objective is to discuss and explain the import regulations in quarters which are showing alarm at the action, and reprisals are talked of. In going to the fountain ■.head of any main objections, the course taken is both wise and courageous. In a broadcast on the subject on Wednesday night, Mr ' Nash gave a fuller insight into the restriction proposals, and presented his case fairly fully. Doubtless, too, much of the ground will be prepared ahead, so that hard-worker as he is, he will do his best to aphieve results within the time-limit h e has set himself. The Minister spoke hopefully of the success of the .'financial policy he has shaped, taking a special cue from the number of new industries starting up or extending. However, the country can do with them all, and with the perseverance going forward in that direction, patience in the matter will be rewarded, soon with evident results as desired. ,
