A decision to establish a New ZcaUind federation of milk producers was reached at a conference attended by representatives^of milk producers’ organisations, from ‘ Auckland; 'Wellington, Christchurch, and Duntedinf 1 Mr J. J. Maher, chairman of the • Wellington Dairy Farmers’ Co-opera-tivej Association, Ltd., presided. Resolutions carried unanimously * ' were: ; That this conference of milk producers’ representatives express the opm- ' ion that the cost of production should be the hasis for the fixation of prices for a city milk supply, and that a conference of delegates be held at Wellington from time to time. ’ .
