ASSASSINATION
OF TRADE UNION LEADER. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). (Received this day at 1,0 p.m.). ST. LOUIS, September 20. Two inaked men assassinated Arthur Schading, “Czar” of the St. Louis Trade Unions and principal figure in union disputes. The men fired twelve bullets into his body and head and then fled. Schading is the second business agent to be killed under similar circumstances. The previous assassination, which was never solved, occurred in 1922.
