BIGGEST ARAB ENCOUNTER YET. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.;. JERUSALEM, Sep. 16; • Thirteen planes and every available British soldier in Northern Palestine have had an engagement against the largest Arab force that has been encountered since the outbreak of the trouble. There was a conflict waged for hours around the village of Dierghassen, near Tulkarem. * The soldiers are blocking the exit from the battlefields, and it is believed that at least one hundred of the Arabs have been killed.

land, and three battalions of infantry from India are now going to Palestine.
