(16.8) made an auspicious first appearance at Wellington as a wrestler at the Town Hall to-night when lie held his own with Dean DetI ton (15.2). Detton displayed all of his customary aggressiveness, science and speed, but Numa was equal to' every call'that was made upon him, find he Treated a most favourable impression.

the opening gong, when Lopez secured a fall with a body press, following a succession of forearm jolts.
