An application to join as parties almost, all of the sports bodies in Auckland was made in the dispute brought before the Conciliation Council by me Northern Industrial Council by the Northern Industrial Front-of-Houso Theatre Employees’ Union. It was proposed by the union that | the award it sought should apply to all employees other than projection-, jsts musicians, and persons preparing food at any agricultural exhibition or . show, cabaret cinema, circus, cricket ground, cycle exhibition, night club, racecourse, skating rink, stadium, speedway, tennis ground, theatre, zoo- ( logical park, or any place where box- j ing concert, dramatic, operatic, vaudeville, wrestling, or other entertain-J meiits were held, and for which there vas a charge for admission.
