CHRISTCHURCH, April 28 •Arrested yesterday on a charge of theft from a city store, a young married woman, while being interviewed at the Central Police Station, jumped through a window overlooking the yard, but fortunately was seized r>y Detective Long by the legs and remained suspended until, with the assistance of Detective Chalmers, she was lifted back. This was told in the court when she was charged with theft. Jt was stated | her home revealed property valued at. about £IOO. which she admitted to de- j tectives as having stolen over the past fifteen months. She was remanded in 6uitadjj[
