ENEMY NO. 1
ATTACK BY HERR (^OEBBELS. (United Press Association—By Electrir Telegraph—Copy right). LONDON March 11 'f “The Times” Berlin correspond uit says that the foreign press, which apparently the German authorities regard as Public Enemy Number One, was severely attacked by Dr; Goebbels when speaking at a reception to German journalists. Dr. Goebbels thanked the German: press for its support of the Nazi movement, and added that. German journalists need not envy their foreign colleagues who enjoyed neither spiritual nor professional freedom', as most served the secret powers either of Jewry, Freemasonry, international Marxism, or capitalism. The Germans on the contrary . worked in the service of the nation for the honour and freedom of the People. If the attacks by the . foreign press continued, it would not be long be-, fore the German press would be officially called on to answer similarly. DR. SCHACHT AND REICIIBANK. LONDON, March 11. The Berlin representative of “The Times” says that it is officially announced that Herr Hitler has extmdand Dr. Schacht’s presidency of the Reichbank to four years. This is regarded as striking pro* f of Herr Hitler’s trust in Dr. Schamit’s control of Germany’s currency and politics.
