The cricketers -were from Auckland, and after playing at Huntly .were rethfiling to the city when -the. accident occurred at about nine o’clock; Considerable difficulty was experienced in hauling the bus hack on fo .theroad ;US the ground was soft l and sloping steeply. The corner where ythe collision red is about four and a half .miles south of Mercer, and '('has' been the scene of several accidents. \V
